A Note from Rebekah

Hi there, I’m super excited you’re here and interested in having a professional photographer capture your family life.

From what you’ve seen so far, I specialise in documenting the quieter, more intimate moments, especially during Birth. I capture the strength, power and love of women, who choose how to birth and on their own terms, and recording such a speechless and breath-taking, raw story of new life.

I also capture before and after baby is born, and looking at Motherhood as a beautiful journey - from Maternity and Newborn sessions, to Nurturing and First Year sessions, to your journey as a parent, as a mother, captured during the early years of your baby’s life.

Lastly, to complete your joyful memories of pregnancy, birth and motherhood, Family sessions are my most popular sessions, all because we are exploring the outdoors and creating your own little adventures. There is nothing better than looking back on photographs of your family, doing what you love, with the people you love.

That. Is a Real Story.

"What if I want something short and sweet, with just a few photographs?"

If you are looking to update your photographs of your children, Mini Sessions are perfect and happen throughout the year, such as special occasions like Mother's and Father's Day, Seasonal and 'Just Because' Sessions!

My sessions are relaxed, enjoyable and adventurous, and I want to capture all the good vibes, and all the natural ones in between, to create your story and your Film. Your family heirloom.

Here are a few fun facts about me…

Unlike a lot of other photographers, I live with my parents with our little fur baby! We live in the countryside, just outside of Lisburn, which is such a blessing as I love the outdoors, and in my free time, you can find me walking with my other half along coastal routes, at forest parks or just chilling, enjoy the heat of the fire (in the winter months, I mean!)

I’ve had my work published on various online websites, such as BP4U, Irish Artists, Belfast Baby Co and I’ve even shared my experiences as a Birth Photographer on a local Doula’s podcast system, "Let’s Doula It”.

I love Green Tea, lighting up the room with fairy lights and candles (really anything that creates 'Hygge'), the feeling of rain hitting my face, and when I’m not on-call for a birth or working in my full-time job, road trips around the country!

During lockdown (in 2020), I set up a support group for expecting and new mummies and had a lot of local businesses come on and chat about what services they are offering during lockdown, and how they can help, encourage and empower mummies, babies or families not just during the good times, but throughout the bad times too. You can find out more here (only expecting or new mums with babies can join).

The Birth of Ruari

Kind Words from Jill & Craig

At Elsie’s birth there was a student midwife there who had taken picture on our camera and it was really lovely to be able to look back over them and see the very stages and actually see the birth. This time around I was keen to have proper pictures that were of a good quality and captured more of this little moments that are often missed or forgotten. So it was so lovely to have Rebekah there just slotting into the background and capturing moments that we can show to both our kids and help normalise birth and all it’s glory!
