Why You Should Book a Beach Mini Session...

You may have noticed my recent blog post and other social media posts about RCP's upcoming Beach Mini Sessions this Summer! But you aren't convinced they are a good idea, because you we don't have awesome weather at the moment, plus you, as a parent, could take photos of your child at the beach any day.

So why should you really book a Beach Mini Session with me?

There are so many reasons why capturing your family, in the precious outdoor locations these that we can go and enjoy, are perfect for the Summer months. A lot of families have taken their kids to the beach since they were tiny, and I personally have fond memories at the beach - my Granny took us one time, and told me to try and swim towards her, so that I could be more confident in the water (and it worked!) Another time, when I went with my parents, we met our neighbours and their kids at the beach, which was totally unexpected but most enjoyable as we played for hours and hours while the 'adults' chatted away.

Capturing your family, altogether, at the beach, is definitely one of the most enjoyable experiences many of my clients have had. They have so much freedom, so much space and so much fun.

The first set of sessions are held at Murlough Beach, one of Northern Ireland's finest beaches, is definitely a hidden gem, just before you drive into Newcastle Town Centre. The walk to the beach itself involves climbing over sand dunes, taking the wooden paths and making your way onto the wide-open space.

Last year, we spent our Beach Mini Sessions at Tyrella Beach and that beach was so, so beautiful. From building sand castles, so dipping tiny toes into the fresh sea water. It was a memorable time for all. Not only did my clients love their images, they loved the unique experience of having a Beach Photo Session, with a bubbly and energetic photographer and letting their kids have the freedom to run around and make new memories in their childhood.

Lastly, the main reason why you should book a Beach Mini Session with me is because they are perfect keepsakes and snippets into family life, your little ones' favourite day trips that they will always remember and a whole new heap of adventures that await you and your family as your family grows.
